BOSTON, MA — CUPCAKE, a sexy, subversive, silly and sweet love letter to Summertown will make its World premiere at Boston’s Club Café May 10 — June 24, 2012. Book by Bradley Seeman, music by Michael Wartofsky (Car Talk: The Musical!!), and lyrics by David Reiffel, and directed and produced by Guy Ben-Aharon (GBA Productions, Israeli Stage). Cupcake Photo Shoot!

Last night, the cast and creative team of CUPCAKE assembled at the home studio of the incredibly talented Joel Benjamin to take some photographs for the show. This was also the first time that the cast and creative/production side of the show all got to meet each other, so it was a particularly exciting evening, and Joel was incredibly kind in opening up his home to us for a few hours (5 cast members + 3 creators + 1 producer/director + Marketing + PR + Associate Producer + Joel + Joel’s 2 lovely pups = 1 big party).

By the end of the night, Joel had taken over 700 pictures. Here’s just a few of our favorites:
